Video will be the no. 1 way to reach large numbers of people online in 2024.
It’s not by chance that it’s also where I spend the majority of my time as a creative.
a brief history
After years taking photos, it was at church where I started making videos, creating pre-recorded services for a small church plant in London, St Peter’s Vauxhall. After continuing serving in video for a couple more Christian organisations, my journey then took me to YouTube, where my best friend and I had a travel vlog as we travelled Europe and Latin America. These are still some of my favourite videos I’ve ever made.
My break into the professional creative world came when I joined the creative team at Mosaic Church in Los Angeles. Throughout my time at Mosaic, I was constantly inspired. And incredibly to me at the time, I managed to contribute plenty, including creating Mosaic’s most viewed Instagram reel ever with my friend Luke.
now
These days I primarily create content for Global Christian Relief, a large US charity supporting persecuted Christians around the world where my work has been featured by TBN. You can find out more about that work here.
I also work for a design studio for churches as a Motion Design Artist, and freelance on smaller projects such as weddings, music promotion and corporate videos. Plus I still love to make my own travel videos when I get the chance!
The highlight of my project work in 2023 however was taking the role of Video Lead for CreationFest, a Christian festival that takes place in the UK. You can see what my amazing team and I made here.
motion
A few years ago two of my passions, video and graphic design, collided. This gave birth to a love for motion design that perhaps tops my love for all other creative disciplines. However, since my motion projects are generally separate, it gets its own page which you can find right here.
