YouTube

This one website has played such a big role in my journey as a filmmaker and remains my favourite content medium to this day. So even though I’m not making as many vlogs these days (I wish I was), I couldn’t miss YouTube here.

Below are a selection of my favourite YouTube vlogs I’ve shot and edited made over the years, plus one I edited for another channel.

[Note: I have shot a whole series for YouTube which I have not yet released. It’s the personal creative project closest to my heart and one day I hope to finish it - this footnote here is to keep me accountable to this dream 🙏]

Emily and Tom

After starting out as a filmmaker purely in churches, as we re-embarked on our travels post-covid, Emily and I began our own YouTube channel to follow our travels around the world.

That started 8 months of hard work, lots of adventure, a load of new online friends and some of the videos I remain most proud of.

You can find our channel right here, but below are some of my all-time favourite videos we made.

Enjoy! 😄

CAYE CAULKER 🏝 FULL TRAVEL GUIDE to Slow Island Life! | Belize

Our 21st and final vlog we edited and released, after our brand and style had grown and developed, I think this is the one I am most proud of! Enjoy a taste of balmy Caribbean life

PUERTO ESCONDIDO 🏝️ FULL BUDGET GUIDE to enjoying PARADISE! | Oaxaca, Mexico

Our most successful video in terms of views currently, this one is a guide to one of our favourite places in Mexico, the surf town Puerto Escondido

OUR MEXICAN CABIN IN THE CLOUDS (tour + daily routine) | San Jose del Pacifico, Oaxaca

This was not our most successful vlog by a mile but it’s one I have great affection for. It tells the story of our daily life in a cabin in the beautiful Mexican mountains of Oaxaca and includes some of my fave funny bits

ATHENS BEST FOOD TOUR: All 24 dishes

For most of the time we were vlogging, for many reasons we thought we could explain but somehow failed to replicate, this was our most successful vlog 😄 If you are interested in Greek food/food in general, this is the one you should watch! It begins a three part Greece series telling the story of the adventures we had in Athens and Crete (and in between)

Global Christian Relief

While something we are still testing out, given my background in YouTube, the concept for a vlogging series, GCR Diaries, was an idea I raised with my main client, Global Christian Relief, based on how interesting the shooting trips themselves were. Below are a couple of vlogs we tried out.

Other Channels

I love getting the chance to work with other YouTubers! Here is a horror vlog I speed-edited for the channel Omar Gosh Vlogs with footage I was provided:
